WCCB Wilson's World interview with Ron Kimble concerning Domestic Violence Night at the Charlotte Knights

CHARLOTTE, N.C.   This Thursday night, the Charlotte Knights will take on the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders at 7:04pm, fans will not only see a great baseball game, they will also be supporting a wonderful foundation.  Thursday night will be the Charlotte Knights's Domestic Violence Awareness Night to support the Jamie Kimble Foundation.

Wilson was at BB&T Ballpark this morning with Ron Kimble, co-founder of the Jamie Kimble Foundation to talk about the foundation and the event on Thursday.

Founded by Ron Kimble in honor of his daughter Jamie, who was shot and killed by her abusive ex-boyfriend whom the left 3 months earlier, the Jamie Kimble Foundation for Courage was created to bring education, awareness, prevention and training young people the warning signs of abuse.  Find out more about the Jamie Kimble Foundation and their work to raise awareness for domestic violence at their website jkffc.org.

First pitch on Thursday night is at 7:04pm.  Legendary boxing champion Christy Martin will sign pre-game autographs and throw out a ceremonial first pitch.  And don't forget, it is Thirsty Thursday. Fans 21 & over can enjoy $3 domestic drafts and $5 craft drafts. All fans can enjoy $1 small sodas.
